Fr Rich needs men/women to be communion guards on Saturdays. Fr Rich has asked that I reach out to you all for help in this regard. Sunday services have members doing this. What is a communion guard? During communion it is standard practice to have a member of our community of faith uphold the importance and reverence for the Holy Eucharist. This person approaches the front of the pews before the community receives communion, bows to the altar and stands about 5 meters off

We need volunteers for each Mass on October 17/18 and 24/25 to count people in the pews. Times: 4:15-4:45pm, Father Richard will pause after the Gloria. Then, he will proceed with the Liturgy of the Word. Just before the first reading it is fine to walk from the front of the church to the back. One counter will need to count each section and don't forget the altar servers and Father. This info will then be brought to the sacristy for record keeping on a paper there. Please

The first Faith Formation Series night was thumbs up! Over 120 people from all ages came out to learn how to RAP with Scripture. And yes, Fr. Rich did debut his rap song, called “The One Thing.” If you’re interested in learning how to pray with Scripture, email Fr. Rich (pastor@pbparish.ca) for his book.
